Welcome to the Tidvis blog — insights for personal assistance and LSS
We are launching a blog where we share guides, industry analyses, and practical tips for those operating personal assistance, LSS housing, or daily activities.
Why a blog from Tidvis?
We have been building management systems for personal assistance and LSS (Swedish law for support to people with disabilities) since 2012, together with assistance companies throughout Sweden. Over the years, we have learned that the most difficult questions in the industry are rarely about software — they are about changing regulations, collective agreements that are interpreted differently, and a daily reality where an daily rest violation can cost both money and trust.
This blog is our way of sharing what we learn. We will write about:
- ATL (Swedish Working Hours Act, Arbetstidslagen) and collective agreements — Kommunal, Fremia (formerly KFO), Vårdföretagarna. How to avoid the most common pitfalls when scheduling.
- Försäkringskassan in practice — FK3059, FK3057, the new API, BankID signing, and what you need to know before the next reconciliation.
- Documentation and IVO supervision — what inspectors actually look for in implementation plans and daily notes.
- Payroll and economics per client — how to get real-time forecasts instead of monthly reconciliations.
- Practical guides — checklists for starting new units, substitute pools, and vacation planning.
Who writes?
The posts come from the Tidvis team — developers, payroll consultants, and individuals who have managed assistance companies themselves. We have full control over the system's details and the operational reality of the business.
